The opportunity I have had to participate in training sessions and advocate for prostate cancer awareness to advocate on Capitol Hill has been truly amazing. Meeting prostate cancer survivors, widows, and the dedicated staff of ZERO Prostate Cancer has been incredibly inspiring. Their passion to educate, support, and promote awareness is contagious.
Being surrounded by individuals who remain positive and resilient while working to save men’s lives is a powerful experience. It reminds us that no one faces this journey alone — there is hope, faith, and a strong community of support.
I witnessed firsthand that many of our elected officials genuinely care about their constituents. They listened to our testimonies and are committed to improving access to screenings, diagnosis, treatment, and research. These efforts will ultimately save thousands of lives and bring hope to families across our nation.
