Congressman Vargas welcomes PCAforLife and ZERO Prostate Cancer
Today was our day to head to Capitol Hill, and despite the cold, we were ready to advocate. Following thorough preparation from the ZERO Prostate Cancer trainers, an army of 140 advocates from 26 states marched toward the Hill. Our mission was clear: secure support from members of Congress for critical prostate cancer funding. As part of the California contingency, our team—including Daniel (a ZEROPC director), Dave, Jesus, and myself—first met with Congressman Juan Vargas. W

Advocting on Capitol Hill proves to be poweful
The opportunity I have had to participate in training sessions and advocate for prostate cancer awareness to advocate on Capitol Hill has been truly amazing. Meeting prostate cancer survivors, widows, and the dedicated staff of ZERO Prostate Cancer has been incredibly inspiring. Their passion to educate, support, and promote awareness is contagious. Being surrounded by individuals who remain positive and resilient while working to save men’s lives is a powerful experience. It

Their courage and resilience have inspired me to continue my journey of learning, raising awareness, and sharing hope. This experience has reinforced an important truth — this cancer can be fought, and it can be overcome. David Diaz - Director, PCA for Life

Even in the rush, something meaningful happens—we ran into James from the Walnut Tribe Men’s Prostate Cancer Support Group. In a place built for brief encounters, this one feels intentional. While we’re standing in line to board, PCA for Life director David strikes up a conversation with another traveler heading to the summit. We soon learn his name i
